For parents
A lot of you asked whether Cedar Mingle was coming back. It is, rebuilt from scratch by a Cedarville alum. Here's how it works, and a message you can send your student.

A Cedarville alum rebuilt Cedar Mingle, the dating app just for Cedarville students. You sign up with your school email and everyone takes a selfie check, so it's only real students. Doors open Friday, January 22 at 8pm, and you can sign up now: https://cedarmingle.com/j/parents
Who’s on it
- Only current Cedarville students. Signing up takes a @cedarville.edu email, and everyone has to be 18 or older.
- Every profile passes a selfie check before anyone can see it, so the person in the photos is the person on the account.
- Every photo is screened before it shows up, and explicit or misleading photos are removed.
How it works
- Each morning, students get a short list of people worth a real look, not an endless feed to swipe through.
- A chat only opens when two people both like each other.
- Anyone can be reported or blocked from their profile or the chat, and a person on our team reads every report.
- Matching and messaging are free. Cedar+ is an optional $3.99 a month for a few extras.
The full rules are on the safety page. Cedar Mingle is independent and isn’t run by Cedarville University.
